Compassion and guidance after the loss of a loved one
At Next Step Baltimore, our work is more than just a job. It’s a vocation. During difficult and sad times, we are here to guide our clients. We understand that estate closures are hard, so we take care of the details. Our extensive experience and close attention to your needs and wishes decreases the stress and eases the process.
Help through every step
Rarely are estate closures a simple process, especially when family members aren’t nearby. Clients can be sure that Next Step is taking care of all details while keeping them involved. We have extensive experience working with estate attorneys and meticulously fulfilling families’ instructions.
Photographs, heirlooms, artwork, furniture—We can ship everything and handle insurance, tracking and confirmations. Plus, we document everything and provide photographic evidence so clients feel secure.
Sometimes estate closures are very time sensitive. On short notice, we can quickly remove and disperse the contents of an entire house or apartment to prevent additional rent or similar costs. We will even help clients prepare a home or items for sale or auction.
Answers to problems big and small
We at Next Step Baltimore don’t shrink from a challenge. We work towards a solution.
After his mother passed away unexpectedly, one of our clients wanted to adopt her two dogs. This client was a professor in the Middle East and sending the pets internationally was very complicated. Coordinating veterinary requirements, airlines and embassy officials took three months. During this time, the dogs lived with one of us at Next Step Baltimore and we fell in love with them! Though we were sad to see them go, we were pleased to fulfill our client’s wish and get the dogs safely to their new home.
There’s a reason many of our clients have specified in their wills that they want Next Step Baltimore to handle their estate closure: They know our broad experience and caring approach simplify the process and provide a welcome relief to loved ones.
